Smallbore Silhouette Update

Just back from Washington State where Mallory competed in the Conard Cup Invitational Smallbore Silhouette Championships. This is the premier event on the West Coast and was Mallory’s first trip out west. There were 120 shooters and 41 masters shooters.

Mallory finished 14th overall and first in the sub junior division.

She set three national records while out there, the across the course hunter rifle National record with a 38/40 (old record was 36/40) and also set national long runs in the turkeys and rams. She also finished up her Hunter rifle Grand Slam and is likely the youngest shooter ever to acheive a NRA grand slam in Silhouette rifle. Research is still ongoing to find any other 12 year old holding a grand slam.
