Shooters brave record heat wave

A small but enthusiastic group of smallbore sillhouette rifle shooters braved the

record heat and humidity to shoot the June 23rd Smallbore Silhouette Rifle match

at OFGC.  Paul Toon was the winner of the club match and Mallory Nichols

continued her 2 year unbeaten streak by winning the NRA approved match with a

34/40.  Nichols was shooting for the first time her new rifle, an Anschutz 1808

custom that will be painted in a pink and silver trim to help raise awareness for

the fight against breast cancer.  A full report and pictures of the new rifle will be

printed here as soon as the paint and powdercoating is finished
