Youth Programs

Youth Firearm Safety Day are held at the Old Fort Gun Club River Range.  Our next event will be April 22nd, 2017.

All Youth 8-17 years are invited to come out to try our Shooting sports:

  • Red Dot .22 Pistol

Home Firearm Safety, Range Safety, Basic Firearm Instruction, in the morning.
(Attendance is mandatory to be allowed to shoot in this event)

The rest of the day Youth will be allowed to try what ever they are interested in. Ammo, Targets, and Firearms are provided.  Parent or Guardian MUST accompany their child to each station the child wishes to try.

Current Range Status

RIVER RANGE: The River Range will be closed to all activity from Tuesday evening, June 13, through Sunday afternoon, June 18. The Old Fort Gun Club is hosting the USPSA Arkansas Handgun Championship match at the River Range, with approximately 225 folks on the Range during that time. The Alma Range is open to shooting during this time. The Board of Directors appreciates you understanding of these important matches to promote the OFGC.
