One of our own (Mallory Nichols) is receiving quite a bit of attention. We have shot two majors this year. Mallory has completely dominated the junior ranks and has two top 3 finishes in the open division shooting against the very best shooters on the US, Canada, and Mexico. The club’s foresight to allow silhouette matches and the support of the board has provided a nurturing environment.

Something new has been added at OFGC !
Old Fort Gun Club is pleased to announce that we are adding Trap Shooting to the schedule. For now, we are going to shoot on the third Thursday of the month. Set up will be at 4 pm and shooting at 5 pm. and continue until dark. We understand that there will be some who can not be there at 5 pm. The way Trap shooting works, we will be able to easily accommodate late arrivals. We will be shooting on the 300 YARD RANGE. The cost will be $6.00 per round. A round is 25 shots.
The FIRST SHOOT WILL BE THURSDAY JUNE 19, 2014
The 300 yard range will be closed to rifle shooting from 4 pm until dark.
Come out Thursday evening and join the fun.
Like all OFGC scheduled matches, members shoot their first round for free. If you want to shoot a second round, the regular charge will apply
On Saturday April 26th, Barry Steffen and Dwight Stearns will be putting on a free clinic, centered on Rimfire competition, for new shooters, ladies and youth. Dwight and Barry are top level competitors in this sport and this is a great opportunity to take advantage of their knowledge and abilities.
The clinic will require an additional 100 rounds of ammunition and registrants must be entered in the match to sign up for the clinic. This clinic is for specifically for new shooters, ladies and youth. If you are interested in signing up for the clinic contact Billy at email@example.com
2013 Old Fort Gun Club Member of the Year
Congratulations to Mr. Joe!! It’s a great honor to have someone willing to give so much of themselves in their efforts to help and guide the Old Fort Gun Club.
Our club has a member who wishes to get SPORTING CLAYS started up again. No one member can do this alone. If you like to shoot sporting clays and would be willing to help with this venture please call Kent Stevens at 479-seven three nine-3970. Sporting clays needs a director and three or four assistant directors in order to make this work. Sporting clays will be shot once again at the Alma Range.
